On July 24-27 the St. Mary M. B. Church will be having its Summer VBS program, “World Changers.” Each day from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. the kids will enjoy Bible stories, games, music, snacks and much more. The week ends with a Special Closing Ceremony on Saturday, July 27.
Macedonia M.B. Church of Mt. Olive will have revival July 21-25. Monday-Thursday night at 7:30 will be guest speaker Pastor Thomas McSwain of Collins. Pastor Perry Feazell and the Macedonia Church family extend a welcome to all.
Athens Baptist Church will have revival services Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 28, at 11a.m. Rev. Stephen Keen, pastor of Weathersby Baptist Church, will be the guest preacher. Following the Sunday morning service, we will have lunch in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Greater Dry Ridge M.B. Church Fall Revival begins on July 28, at 1:30 p.m. Our pastor of 38 years, Rev. Glasco T. Floyd, will open up the revival Sunday. Mendenhall High School Football Booster Club will meet Monday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mendenhall Tiger Field House located at the high school football field. We would like all parents and anyone who is interested in joining and supporting the 2019 Mendenhall Tiger Football Team and Coaches to attend this meeting. The agenda will include election of officers, bylaws and the upcoming football season.

Week night services will be August 5-7 beginning at 7:15 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Christopher Preston from New Zion M.B. Church, Moselle, MS.

Lost Art of Wrestling: Breaking the Mold will have personal wrestling Friday, August 9, at the National Guard armory in Magee. Doors open at 6 p.m., pre-show match 6:30. Show begins at 7 p.m. General admission is $10. Tickets are available at the Magee Co-Op gas station in Magee. Ask for PK. We will also have concessions and a guest speaker.

Lunch and fellowship time is 12:15-1:15 p.m. Prayer and lunch are open to all people to get spiritually fed and natural food for the soul. The Books-n-Lunch Club meets at the Magee Library at 12:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss a book chosen for adult readers. New participants are welcome. Pick up or prepare a lunch item to share and join the group, or just visit. Call the library at 601-849-3747 for information.
