A circus featuring high wire acts will be in Magee this Friday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Magee City Park. Admission is $10 for adults. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the Magee Fire Department.

Lost Art of Wrestling: Breaking the Mold will have personal wrestling Friday, August 9, at the National Guard Armory in Magee. Doors open at 6 p.m., pre-show match 6:30. Morning prayer and afternoon luncheon is held every Thursday at Mt. Moriah Church. Prayer time is 11 a.m. until noon. Lunch and fellowship time is 12:15-1:15 p.m. Prayer and lunch are open to all people to get spiritually fed and natural food for the soul.
