Magee Pleaseant Hill Baptist Church will celebrate its 66th anniversary, homecoming and the family reunion for all descendants of Alex & Lula Purvis Kennedy, the founders of our church. Kennedy Springs Baptist Church 2021 Hwy 540 E Magee, will have its Fall Revival starting Sunday, September 16. Morning worship starts at10:45 a.m. followed by lunch, and then the evening service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday-Wednesday night service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Evangelist Justin Graves, director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes from Mississippi College, will be speaking. Morning prayer and afternoon luncheon is held every Thursday at Mt. Moriah Church. Prayer time is 11 a.m. until noon. Lunch and fellowship time is 12:15-1:15 p.m. Prayer and lunch are open to all people to get spiritually fed and natural food for the soul. The Books-n-Lunch Club meets at the Magee Library at 12:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss a book chosen for adult readers. New participants are welcome.
