Arrest Reports 3-21-2019

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 21 arrests from March 11 to March 18.

Casey Hutchins of 129 M H Powell Road Mendenhall MS was arrested on March 12 and charged with petit larceny, possession of controlled substance (2), and possession of paraphernalia.


Arrest Reports 3-14-2019

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 10 arrests from March 4 to March 8.

The SCSO reported the following additional arrests: domestic violence (2), false report, driving with license suspended (3), hold (2), disturbing the peace (2).

The Mendenhall Police Department reported 3 arrests from March 4 to March 8.




Arrest Reports 2-28-2019

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 23 arrests from February 18 to February 25.

Amanda Darlene Kemp of 3535 Highway 80 Pearl MS was arrested on February 18 and charged with possession of a controlled substance.



Arrest Reports 2-21-2019

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 25 arrests from February 11 to February 18.

David Blackmon of 651 Spencer Avenue Pensacola FL was arrested on February 14 and charged with possession of a controlled substance.




Five sentenced for felonies

District Attorney Matt Sullivan announces that during that during the January 2019 term of Circuit Court, the following defendants were adjudicated guilty and sentenced to significant punishments for the felony crimes they committed in Simpson and Covington County. 


Arrest Reports 2-7-19

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 20 arrests from January 28 to February 4.

The SCSO reported the following arrest warrants (5), hold (2), old fines, possession of paraphernalia (4), driving with license suspended, no driver’s license, disorderly conduct (3), DUI other, trespassing, and weekend stay.




Arrest Reports 1-31-2019

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 41 arrests from January 21 to January 28.

Tyler Robinson of 82 Brewer Stockman Road Ellisville and Joshua Brooks of 74 Patterson Loop Moselle MS were arrested on January 27 and charged with possession of a schedule I and schedule II controlled substance and marijuana.
