The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 22 arrests from June 25 to July 2.
Megan Runnels of 195 Cherry Bridge Road Mount Olive MS was arrested on June 29 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and methamphetamine.
Eddie Johnson of 1492 Dry Creek Road Magee MS was arrested on July 1 and charged with DUI 4th, careless driving, and driving with license suspended.
The SCSO reported the following additional arrests: bench warrant, court order, trespassing, DUI 1st other (2), warrant (2), DUI 2nd, possession of a stolen firearm, hold (5), forgery, domestic violence (2), DUI 1st (2), and driving with license suspended.
