Award winning photographer Willie Bernoudy donated two of his photos to Mendenhall Elementary after speaking with Mrs. Angela Snellgrove’s class.
Bernoudy is a former student of Snellgrove and wanted to take the opportunity to give back and inspire the next generation.
Bernoudy said, “Whatever you do in life you do it with a purpose, so it inspires someone from the next generation. I had a blast with these children and I want to thank Mrs. Snellgrove for inviting me.”
He donated a framed and autographed print of his first award winning photo as a travel photographer. He also donated a second photo to Snellgrove for having an impact on him as his third grade teacher.
Bernoudy said, “I gave her one of my favorite photos that I have ever taken. I want to thank her for always believing and seeing what I didn’t see. Teachers make a difference.”
