Identity of body found in drainage ditch confirmed as Arkansas woman

Authorities have determined that the body discovered Saturday morning in a watery drainage ditch near a Greenwood highway belonged to an Arkansas woman who they believe had been staying at a nearby hotel.
They still don’t know, though, what caused her death.

Eric Dane Rollins of 118 French Road Braxton MS was arrested on January 27 and charged with sexual battery.
Travis Paul Maraio of 131 Greene Avenue Mendenhall MS was arrested on January 27 and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

UPDATE: Bomb Threat at Magee High School Campus

Magee High School and Magee Middle School were placed on a temporary lockdown while Magee Police Department investigated a potential bomb threat. The incident is still under investigation and students are returning to class.
