The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 36 arrests from August 6 to August 13.
The SCSO reported the following additional arrest: warrants (5), DUI (4), possession of a weapon by felon, receiving stolen property, simple assault (2), MDOC Work Program (10), possession of paraphernalia (6), possession of a controlled substance, driving with license suspended (2), no driver’s license, domestic violence, and trespassing.
The Mendenhall Police Department reported 3 arrests from August 6 to August 13.
The MPD reported the following arrests: shoplifting, public drunk, and no driver’s license.
The Magee Police Department reported 9 arrests from August 6 to August 13.
Kelly Eugene Thornton of 214 South Oak Street Mize MS was arrested on August 8 and charged with possession of methamphetamine
Rihannon Hopkins of 113 Cottonwood Drive Mize MS was arrested on August 10 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and DUI 1st other.
The MPD reported the following additional arrest: DUI 1st other (2), disorderly conduct, hold, DUI 1st, and warrants (3).
