Jimmy Dale Green passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 31, 1952, to Kenneth Ray Green and Ruby Inez Tanner Green in Magee, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Ray Green and Ruby Inez Tanner Green.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jo Green; his sons Stacy Green (Christina), Ryan Fairchild ( Shelly); sisters Rhilda Miller (Ron), and Debbie Rigby (David); grandchildren Hannah Green, Carolina Elaine Fairchild, Brooke Hutchings, Stephanie Hutchings, Brayden Roland; great-grandchild, Sophia Gonzales, along with many beloved nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, at Tutor Funeral Home with Bro. Clint Peoples officiating. Interment followed at Magee City Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
