This was the 10th time in school history that this has been accomplished. The Trojans will host Franklin County in the first round of the playoffs.
The Mendenhall Tigers finished with a .500 record in district play and enter the playoffs as a third seed. The Tigers have shown flashes of greatness and will look to build on this as they enter the postseason. They will be on the road in the first round of the playoffs as face a familiar opponent in the Poplarville Hornets.
All teams have what it takes to make some noise this post season and will leave everything on the field this Friday night. Everyone is encouraged to support their team as the playoffs continue.
