Governor Tate Reeves, during his daily COVID-19 briefing asked everyone to continue to do the little things so the state can take another step toward returning to normalcy. Mississippi has experienced three consecutive weeks of trending in the right direction in terms of coronavirus cases.

Circle Drive in front of Mendenhall High School and Mendenhall Elementary School is receiving a fresh layer of asphalt before school starts. Mayor Todd Booth said, “I’m glad our board decided to go forward with the project. That new asphalt will make the school look even better.”

Circle Drive gets asphalt rehab

The Mendenhall Mayor and Board of Aldermen agreed that the road conditions in front of Mendenhall High School and Mendenhall Elementary were in terrible condition and decided that the majority of this year’s paving budget should be dedicated to repairing Circle Drive.
