Fourth and fifth-grade students at Mendenhall Elementary School recently collected household items to donate to the Angelwings Domestic Abuse Center as a community service project. The service project was done in conjunction with Simpson County School District's new MajorClarity platform, which introduces students to different career paths and teaches them about responsibilities and duties they must perform in the field of their choice. Lessons in MajorClarity include finance, agriculture, transportation, hospitality, technology, manufacturing, arts and communication, STEM, marketing, construction, human services, law and public safety, business, government, education, and health.
