You don’t think hurricanes impact lives in Simpson County? Well, think again.
It has been a while since a big storm had serious impact locally, but Hurricane Katrina hit Simpson County hard, and parts of the area were without power for several weeks. The City of Magee specifically was without power from Monday until Friday.
