_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a disurbance in the Northeast moves offshore, some rain
and snow showers may move along the coast during the
morning tomorrow. A couple of slushy spots cannot be ruled
out. Dry conditions will be in place for most of the
Southeast, Midwest and Plains, with a couple of showers and
a thunderstorm in South Texas. meanwhile, a large, intense
storm system will move onshore along the West Coast. Steady
rain is expected from coastal Washington to Southern
California. This rain will be especially heavy in central
California, where several inches or more are expected to
fall. Flooding issues, and even mudslides will remain a
concern in this area, especially given recent heavy rain.
Mountain snow is also expected in the Cascades and Sierras.
