NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms in eastern Louisiana, southern Mississippi,
southern Alabama, southern Georgia and southwestern South
Carolina can bring flash flooding and isolated damaging wind
gusts tomorrow. Northwestern Minnesota should be dry, but a
couple of showers and a thunderstorm are expected in the
rest of the state during the afternoon hours. A spotty
thunderstorm could rumble as far east as central and
southern Michigan and northwestern Ohio. Much of Maine,
Vermont, New Hampshire, western Massachusetts and upstate
New York could have a thundershower at any time. An
afternoon thunderstorm or two will occur in the mountains of
New Mexico and southern Colorado. The recent heat wave will
expand northward, with parts of Montana possibly exceeding
100 degrees Fahrenheit.
