NATIONAL SUMMARY
A very narrow band of heavy, wet snow will accelerate
northeastward from eastern Nebraska and western Iowa to
central and northeastern Minnesota tomorrow. Farther east, a
wide swath of rain and showers will stretch from Wisconsin
and Michigan to Illinois and Indiana and western and central
portions of Kentucky and Tennessee. A few rumbles of thunder
may be heard in Mississippi and Louisiana, but the risk of
severe weather is low. A few light showers or some drizzle
could fall in the mountains of Virginia and the Carolinas. A
storm will spread rain and mountain snow across much of
Idaho and western parts of Montana and Wyoming. Mountain
snow showers will affect Washington and Oregon, with heavier
rain and snow possible in Northern California. The Northeast
will remain dry and unseasonably warm.
