The Nation's Weather for Sunday, November 6, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A strong cold front will continue to move eastward tomorrow
as a storm system lifts northward, bringing periods of rain
from the Southeast states to New England. Much of this will
be light in intensity, however some steadier and heavier
rain is possible in the Appalachians. Showers are also
expected in the Florida Peninsula as tropical moisture
increases across the state. While temperatures will be well
above average across the Northeast, a major cooldown will
occur behind the cold front, dropping high temperatures by
over 20 degrees Fahrenheit in some areas. Meanwhile, an
intensifying storm system will bring heavy rain and mountain
snow across an expanded area of the West, including much of
California.
