One of the last official acts for Magee’s most recent administration was an award from the Mississippi Municipal Association during their annual convention held last week on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Included in the accomplishments was the re-surfacing of the tennis courts and walking tracks, new lighting at the McNair Springs and renovations to the Sports Complex and the new splash pad. Magee competed with cities of less than 10,000 population.
