James E. Jennings, 84, of Magee passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee. He was born Monday, January 2, 1933 in Jackson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 2:30 -3 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Bro. Roger Lee will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements.
He is preceded in death by his Parents,Bayard and Kate Jennings; Son, Keith Jennings: Sisters, Louise Graham and Lois Watts.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jo Jennings, Magee, son ,James E Jennings, Jr., Louisana; Grandchildren, Jennifer Plueger (Chad), Grovetown, Georgia, Joanna Smith (Craig), Augusta, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Logan Plueger, Grovetown, Georgia, Sanders Smith, Augusta, Georgia; sister, Pauline Magee, Florida. Special thanks to the staffs of Hillcrest Nursing Home and Simpson General Hosptial.
