Gravesite services for Mrs. Kimberly Felicia Jones Tatum, 46, Magee, were held on Saturday, September 12, 2020. at 2 p.m. from Gregory Cemetery, Magee. Reverend Louis McLaurin officiated the services. Reeves Funeral Home, Inc., Mount Olive, MS, was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Tatum passed away at Magee General Hospital, Magee, on September 7, 2020.
Active pallbearers were Mitchell McNair, Demetrius Rigsby, Merkle Jones, Montreal Jonles, James Tatum, and JaMarcus Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Cedrick Jones, Jacovy Hunt, Lorenzo Jones, Roy Rigsby, Sr., and Willie Drones.
Flower bearers were granddaughters and nieces.
Mrs. Tatum was educated in the Simpson County School District, Magee. She dedicated her life to the Lord in 1995 at the Christian Book Store under the guidance of Reverend Havard McDonald. She obtained her CDL license and worked as a professional truck driver. She was a dedicated caregiver and enjoyed listening to gospel music, reading the Bible and teaching her grandchildren about the Lord. She loved her family to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Womack and Claudzzetta Jones; son, James Allen Tatium, Jr., and grandson, Ja'Quincy Sims.
Survivors include son, Cedrick Deon Jones (Shanikka), Mendenhall; daughters, LaDonna Tenia Jones-Brown (Billy), Taylorsville, MS, and Jayesha LaWinter Tatum, Magee; four sisters, Carolyn Davis (Michael), Mt. Olive, Rosland Patterson (Lewis), and Marissa Jones, all of Magee, and Judy Womack, Blytheville, Ark.; brothers, Willie Drones, Lorenzo Jones, Ferral Womack, Jessie Womack and Tony Womack, all of Magee, and Claude Womack, TX; 10 grandchildren and special nieces, Cassie Davis, Magee and Jasemine Williams, Collins, MS. Special goddaughter, Belinda Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
