Morris Griffing, Sr. ,67, passed away on November 5, 2017, at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1949, to the late Morris D. Griffing and Robbie Barrett in Jackson MS.
He served in The United States Marines and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda L. (Langele) Griffing; sons, Morris B. Griffing, Jr. (Amanda), Corey L. Griffing; daughters, Shana L. East (Billy), Niki Lee; brother, Bobby Griffing (Nancy); sisters, Sherry Griffing, Eva Sawin, Mary Jo Haley; nine grandchildren, A.J. Griffing, Austin Corkern, Destinie Lee, Kimberleigh Maynard Lee, Rebekah Lee, Samantha Lee,Julia'anna Griffing, Crystal Foy and William East.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS. Services will be Thursday, November 9, at 11:00 a.m. in Tutor Chapel with interment following at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Mendenhall.
