School board approves 12% raise

The Simpson County School Board was forced to meet by Zoom last Thursday after an outbreak of Covid-19 hit eight members of the central office staff, including Superintendent Dr. Toriano Holloway.
Because of some technical issues, the board rescheduled some of the agenda items such as financial reports.
