BILOXI, Miss. (March 18, 2026) — The Peoples Bank will host its annual Community Shred Day on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving residents a safe and convenient way to dispose of sensitive documents.
The free event will take place at two locations along the Mississippi Gulf Coast: The Peoples Bank Cedar Lake Branch at 1740 Popps Ferry Road in Biloxi and The Peoples Bank Bay St. Louis Branch at 408 Highway 90 East in Bay St. Louis.
Residents can bring old records, financial paperwork and other personal documents for free secure on-site shredding. Participants should bring paper only, remove binders, plastics and other non-paper items, and each person is limited to five bags or boxes of documents.
Shredding sensitive records helps reduce identity theft. Community Shred Day gives residents a chance to clear out old files while keeping their personal information secure.
The Peoples Bank sponsors Community Shred Day in partnership with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, the Hancock Chamber and Ace Data Storage & Shredding. Locally owned Ace Data Storage & Shredding will use advanced document shredding to safely dispose of sensitive documents.
