The Mendenhall Area Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Pumpkins in the Park this Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. until noon at Alice Davis Park.
Children are invited to choose a free pumpkin to paint and decorate. Children will also be able to participate in a hayride, petting zoo, and fun games. Free popcorn and water will be provided while supplies last.
The event is sponsored by Stubbs Law Firm, McGuffee Drugs, Booth Discount Tires, Curtis & Etta Boyte, Peoples Bank, Cole Tractor, and The Mendenhall Area Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber President Latasha Millis said, “We look forward to the community coming out and enjoying the morning with us. We intend to have several games for the kids to enjoy and pumpkins for them to paint. The entire event is free to the community. We hope this will be our biggest event yet and we look forwards to having the community’s support and have everybody show up.”
