Simpson County Technical Center (SCTC) is featuring Law and Public Safety as its Program of the Month.
Students enrolled in SCTC’s law and public safety courses learn about the history of law and legal systems in the United States, in addition to specialized areas and topics within the law and public safety sector. This program helps students prepare for careers in planning, managing, and providing legal, public safety, protective services and homeland security, including professional and technical support services.
Over the course of the 2021-22 school year, SCTC students have participated in engaging programming such as a simulated mass casualty exercise, Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) exercise, and tours of college campuses offering similar programs.
