Jimmy Clyde Ramage, 83, of Mendenhall passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020, at his home in Mendenhall. He was born Thursday, November 26, 1936.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 3, 2020, at 3 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial followed in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Bro. Timothy Carlisle officiated. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall was in charge of arrangements (601) 847-4401.
Mr. Ramage was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Braxton. He also was a member of the Mosaic Lodge 497 of Mendenhall. He also spent time in the National Guard. Mr. Jimmy was a great husband, amazing daddy, and exceptional grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Tommieseal Ramage; foster parents, Zed and Oille Walker.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Louise Ramage; daughters, Cynitha Prince (Stephen) and Rebecca Boyd; grandchildren, Michelle Pickett (George), Robert Taylor (Lacey), Jenifer Thurman, Tiffany Carlisle (Timothy), Brittany Clark (Josh), Tyler Prince (Emily); 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Hilton Ramage; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Travis Kyzar, Stephen Prince, Colby Rankin, Devon Thurman, Josh Spark and Wesley Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Riley Pickett, Devan Thurman, and Nathan Carlisle.
