Mrs. Imogene Muse, 93, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Villa South Assisted Living in Florence. Family and friends gathered at Bethany First United Methodist Church in D’Lo  on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at 3 p.m. to celebrate her life.

Willie George Blair, 92, of Mendenhall passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Magee General Hospital in Magee.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall.


Rita Dean Plunk

Rita Dean Plunk, 70, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, in Mississippi. She was born Sunday, January 16, 1949.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Graveside services were held Friday, May 24, 2019,  at Waco Fairmont Cemetery in Mize.




Megan Renee Purser Beaube

Megan Renee Purser Beaube, 9, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Sunday May, 19, 2019 at her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Friday, August 21, 2009.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.




Rodney Lee Sullivan

Rodney Lee Sullivan, 27, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019.

Funeral services were May 20 at 3 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Bro. Jay Hays and Bro. James Fortenberry officiated.



Marshall D. Deer

Coach Deer was born on October 29, 1933, in Simpson County to parents Griffin and Mae Lee Deer.  He was a graduate of Pinola High School, Col-Lin Junior College and went on to graduate from Mississippi College.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mendenhall.  He married his sweetheart, Frances Elaine McDaniels, on December 13, 1958.  Co

Nadine Letitia McWilliams Cooper, 86 years old, of Spring, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at 11 a.m.  She was born on November 26, 1932, in Copiah County.  A private graveside service was held for the immediate family May 18, 2019.
