He retired as a veteran. His work ethic and his natural ability to learn can be directly attributed to his military background.

Patsy Gibson Jones passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019, at Belhaven Senior Care in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born on August 28, 1929, to Zack L Gibson, Sr. and Rochelle English Gibson.
She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper until she retired in 1991. Most of her years spent with the Simpson County Schools.
