Ann Grantham Gay

Ann Grantham Gay, age 71, passed away peacefully Friday, September 6, 2019, in Jackson, MS. Ann was the youngest of nine children born to Ely and Catherine Graves Grantham. She was born in Simpson County and was a graduate of Mendenhall High School. She was the first woman insurance adjuster at AIG, where she worked until her retirement.


Joe Randall Parker

Joe Randall Parker passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Baptist Medical Center.  He was born on June 4, 1952, to his late parents, Joe D. and Jackie Boggan Parker.



Perry Bruce Sullivan

Perry Bruce Sullivan, 76, of Mount Olive, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019, at Covington County Hospital in Collins.  He was born Thursday, September 17, 1942.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.




Armando Xavier Cuellar

Armando Xavier Cuellar, 66, of Braxton died Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, December 11, 1952.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert andMargaret Cuellar.


Martha P. Rushing

Martha P Rushing, 91, of Magee, passed from this life Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee. She was born Monday, May 28, 1928.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5, 2019, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.




J.D. Davis

J. D. Davis, 85, of Cleveland, Mississippi, passed away Friday, August, 23, 2019. He was born Sunday, January 14, 1934.

Visitation was on August 25, 2019,  at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Funeral services were on August 25, 2019, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. Burial followed in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.



George Alexander Ware

George Alexander Ware, 89, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away Saturday at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, June 5, 1930.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.


Ann Tew Magee

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at the Mount Olive Presbyterian Church for Ann Tew Magee, 73, of Mount Olive, who passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019, in Jackson.

Interment was in the McNair Cemetery in Mount Olive. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mount Olive was in charge of the arrangements.
