The Magee Trojans fell to the North Pontotoc Vikings at Trustmark Park in the first game of the State Championship series 2-12. The Trojans took the field less than 24 hours removed from a grueling 14 inning game 3 in South State against West Marion.
Simpson played two games last week against East Rankin Academy in the MAIS Playoffs. Simpson won the series 2-0 and advanced to the semifinals of the MAIS Playoffs versus Washington School.
