Garrity, Jones to wed Feb. 2

Mr. and Mrs. William F. (Billy) Garrity III of Hattiesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Allison, of Hattiesburg to Zachary James Jones of Magee, son of Jamie Jones of Magee and Anthony Tata of Washington, D.C.

The bride-to-be is an honor graduate of Sumrall High School, a highest honor graduate of Jones College in Ellisville, where she cheered for two years, and a highest honor graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing and was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. She is employed by The University of Southern Mississippi, where she is a Graduate Enrollment Specialist.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Rev. and Mrs. Johnny Jones of Mendenhall.

The prospective groom is also a graduate of Sumrall High School. After high school, Zach attended Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit, MS, on a baseball scholarship for two years. He then attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received his bachelor’s degree in sports medicine. He is employed by Hattiesburg Clinic in Hattiesburg, where he is an athletic trainer.

 Grandparents of the prospective groom are Mr. and Mrs. James Jones of Martinville.

Lindsey and Zach will exchange wedding vows on February 2, 2019, at the Barn at Bridlewood in Hattiesburg, MS, with a celebratory reception with their friends and family to follow.
