The Magee Trojans traveled to USM for their spring game to face defending MAIS state champions Adams Christian.
The Trojans won 18-7, and Head Coach Chase Courtney said he was pleased with what he saw from his team. He expected some mistakes, as the Trojans played the game missing three starters along their offensive line.

Tigers’ spring game efforts revealing

The Mendenhall Tigers fell short in their spring game against the Ridgeland Titans, but the game served its purpose of allowing coaches the opportunity to evaluate their team. Head Coach Chuckie Allen was optimistic about what he saw from his team, praising their effort and how well they competed.

Road manager Ben Warren said that the department has been busy as they prepare to start their rock and tar program and ditching project. He presented the board with options to upgrade the county’s packers as the rock and tar project is underway.
