(Jackson, Mississippi) Attorney General Lynn Fitch and Department of Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell made the following statement today:
Our offices continually work closely together to ensure security in our communities. We are excited to announce that Mississippi Department of Public Safety’s Chief Legal Counsel Chad Williams will be taking on a new role as Director of Civil Litigation at the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office. Chad brings invaluable legal expertise to our State, and we are lucky to have him serving Mississippians.
We are also proud to announce that Corrie Cockrell Carter will be stepping into the role of Chief Counsel at Mississippi Department of Public Safety. Corrie has been with the Legal Division since 2021, bringing with her years of legal experience, including previous work at the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
These public servants have dedicated their careers to ensuring faithful adherence to the rule of law. We are incredibly thankful for their service to our great State.
