Alan Gwin Moore, 74, of Florence, MS, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the Covington County Hospital in Collins, MS. He was born Saturday, February 11, 1950, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements, 601-785-6564.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Annashi Wyatt; parents, Robert and Agnes Moore; brothers, Bobby Moore and Jerry Pat Moore.
Survivors include wife, Janice Byrd; daughters, Brandi Welch (Trae), MS, Chelsea Ellison (Cliff); grandchildren, Taylor Pinson (Gage), Owen Welch, Ava Welch, Ashleigh Wyatt, Cody Wyatt and Austin Ellison; brother, Lynn Moore (Diane ); aunt, Willa Dean Edwards; son-in-law, Jay Wyatt.
