Amelia Jones passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 25, 1944, to Clarence Jones and Venus Howell Jones in Mize, MS.
Amelia was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Venus Howell Jones; brothers, Gale Jones and Horace Jones; and one sister, Emily Jones Manning.
She leaves behind her nephew, Ron Jones, and niece, Holly Johnson; great nieces, Sommer Johnson and Madison Scott (Ian); and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Jones Cemetery, 11296 MS-35, Mize, MS. Bro. Tony Keys officiated.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
