The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office reported 22 arrests from June 30 to July 7.
James Randall Bonner of 124 Ruby Taylor Road Mendenhall was arrested on July 1 and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The SCSO reported the following arrests: driving with license suspended (2), probation violation (3), old fines (2), DUI 1st (3), disturbance of family, public drunk, child neglect, counterfeit money (2), petit larceny, assault by threat, no driver’s license (2), possession of a stolen firearm, and DUI 2nd.
The Mendenhall Police Department reported 8 arrests from June 30 to July 7.
Kenneth Lee Hester III of 209 Polk Atwood Road Prentiss MS was arrested on July 3 and charged with possession of marijuana.
The MPD reported the following arrests: driving with license suspended (2), DUI other, warrant, counterfeit money, simple assault, and old fines.
The Magee Police Department reported 15 arrests from June 30 to July 7.
Riyoberto Canhola of 725 2nd Avenue Magee MS was arrested on July 5 and charged with aggravated assault.
The MPD reported the following additional arrests: no seat belt, possession of paraphernalia (3), warrant (2), discharging a weapon in city limits, driving with suspended license (3), warrant, domestic violence (2), and possession of a stolen vehicle.
