Bettye Ann Boyd Smith, 77, passed away on April 26, 2025. She was born on August 4, 1947, to Mattie and Hewitt Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheree Boyd Rand; parents, Mattie and Hewitt Boyd; and sister, Peggy Boyd.
She is survived by husband, James T. Smith; sister, Anna Boyd Simmons; brothers, Billy Boyd and David Boyd; daughter, Jacquelyn S. Boyd Bowman; son, James Ray Boyd Jr.; stepdaughters, Heather Smith Pastorek and Tammie Smith; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on May 3, 2025, at Corinth Baptist Church in Magee, MS, at 11 a.m.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
