The City of Magee will begin their annual paving project on October 21. The city is slated to spend approximately $1 million dollars on paving this year.
Paving has been scheduled for several streets covering all wards.
The following streets are set to be paved:
Ward 1– Colonial Circle, Colonial Drive, Cherry Street, 11th Ave NW
Ward 2- 1st Avenue SW, 1st Street SW, 7th Street SE, 3rd Avenue SW, ad 11th Avenue NW
Ward 3- 8th Avenue SE, 2nd Street SE, 4th Street SE, Industrial Park Drive SE
Ward 4- McLaurin Drive NE, North Hill Drive NE
Other: 8th Avenue SW and Choctaw Street
Paving will begin on Monday, October 21, and citizens are asked to remove any vehicles that are parked on these streets while work is being done.
