Spring Revival will be held at Goshen Baptist Church, 1675 Simpson Hwy. 541 N., Magee, March 22-25. Sunday’s service begins at 11 a.m. with Bro. Jay Hays as speaker. Monday-Wednesday night services begin at 6 p.m. with Bro. Bill Blair as guest speaker. John Darden will be the worship leader for the services.

In observance of Holy Week, a Community Prayer Night will be held in Ural Everett Park on Main Ave. in Magee beginning at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to pray for the city, its leaders and its churches.
April 2
First Baptist Church of Magee will host a luncheon and Holy Week devotional service on Thursday, April 2, from 12 -12:45 p.m. No cost for the luncheon, and everyone is invited. The speaker will be Rev. Darnell Moffett.

The Republican Women of Simpson County will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, April 2, in the E911 Building in Mendenhall at 11 a.m. Mississippi Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson will be the guest speaker. Guests are welcome to attend.
April 3
The office of the Simpson County Board of Supervisors, and all other county offices, will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday. The Solid Waste Department will run its normal schedule for the week of March 30 and for the week of April 6. There will be no change in the collection schedule during this time. To ensure that your garbage is collected promptly, place it outside by 6 a.m. for pickup.
April 4
Goshen Baptist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt and Cook-out on Saturday, April 4, from 2 - 4 p.m. Call the church for more information at 601-455-2636.
The annual City-Wide Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, at the Jimmy Clyde Sportsplex in Magee. It begins at 9 a.m. and is sponsored by First Baptist Church of Magee. All children are welcome!

Goshen Baptist Church, 1675 Simpson Hwy. 541 N. , Magee, will host a Vacation Bible School on June 14-19, Sunday-Friday, from 5:30 -8 p.m. each night. Pilgrim Rest Community Development, in partnership with Mississippi Food Networks, will continue monthly food distributions on the third Thursday of each month from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Family Life Center, 169 Pilgrim Rest Rd., Pinola, MS 39149.
Overflow Church sponsors a Food Pantry Distribution that will re-open on Wednesday, March 18 and will be offered every 3rd Wednesday evening of each month. Times will be 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. by appointment only. To schedule an appointment time, call the church office at 601-423-6251 beginning the week before the pantry. Morning prayer and afternoon luncheon is held every Thursday at Mt. Moriah Church. Prayer time is 11 a.m. until noon. Lunch and fellowship time is 12:15-1:15 p.m. Prayer and lunch are open to all people to get spiritually fed and natural food for the soul. Senior citizens, the needy and the homeless, come and bring a friend. Mt. Moriah Church is located at 160 Mt. Moriah Church Road, Magee.
The Books-n-Lunch Club meets at the Magee Library at 12:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss a book chosen for adult readers. Potluck lunch is served, so bring a dish.
