Braxton will host its second annual “Good Ol’ Days Festival” on October 28.
The event will begin at 10 am and last until. Activities will include a trail ride, old tools and tractor display, antique cars, crafts and produce for purchase, mule pulls, operating grist mills, and a blacksmith demonstration. Several vendors will be in attendance.
The Simpson County Historical Society will be in attendance and historical memorabilia will be on display courtesy of Ray Therrell.
Kids will also have an opportunity to participate in a seed “spittin” contest and tricycle races.
