Services for Donna Kay Allred Robinson, 83, of Mendenhall, formerly of Natchez, who died Thursday April 10, 2025, in Mendenhall were held at 2 p.m. Saturday April 12, 2025 at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Russell Wagoner officiating.
Burial followed at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation was at 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday April 12, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home.
Donna Kay Allred Robinson was born on December 15, 1941, in Smithdale, MS. She passed away at Strong River Villa Assisted Living in Mendenhall, MS, on April 10, 2025. She also lived in Natchez and Jackson, MS.
She graduated from East Franklin High School in McCall Creek, MS, in 1960. She went on to become a telephone operator for South Central Bell in Natchez, MS, and retired after 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Braxton.
Donna had a passion for rescuing and adopting animals whom she found, or who found her. Her love of animals was her true source of joy.
Donna Robinson was preceded in death by her father, Enoch H. Allred; her mother, Blanche Matthews Allred; her husband, J.T. Robinson Sr.; and her sister, Hazel Allred Holland. Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Frances Allred McPhail of D’Lo, MS; her nieces Mechelle Duncan of Summit, Felicia Holland of Meadville, Andrea Phillipson (Clyde) of Florence; along with two great-nieces, Kaley Rowell (Blake) of Jayess, Kayla Phillipson of Mendenhall; one great-nephew, Brady Duncan (Ashton) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one great-great niece, Emily Rowell; and one great-great nephew, Henry Duncan.
