Despite the weather, first the almost unbearable heat and then the threat of thunderstorms, the Magee Chamber of Commerce hosted a great event Friday night at Ural Everett Park in Downtown Magee, Lawnchair Luau.
The Luau opened at 5 p.m. and concluded at 9 p.m. with live music featuring Louie Munn and the Hurricane Band.
