As of Friday afternoon the number of students and faculty to quarantine at Magee High School has shown a substantial increase.
A report from Judith Jones, Director of Covid-19 Health and Wellness for the school district, said that 167 students are now under quarantine along with eight staff members.
The report indicated there were four students to test positive for Covid this week at the high school.
Magee Elementary had zero cases for teachers and students for this week. However, five students and two teachers had to quarantine this week. Magee Middle had zero test positive but had four students and three teacher have to quarantine.
Mendenhall Elementary, Mendenhall Jr. High and The Career and Technical Center all had zero cases reported for the week. Simpson Central had zero teachers test positive and one student had to quarantine. Mendenhall High had zero teacher cases and two students had to quarantine.
