Anyone dealing with grief in any of its forms is invited to participate in GriefShare, a 12-week opportunity to participate in a grief support group.
The program will be hosted by First Baptist Church of Magee.
The purpose of a GriefShare support group is to provide help and encouragement to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. The group is facilitated by caring counselors who understand the difficult emotions of the grieving process.
The program provides guidance and tips with the goal of helping grieving participants find relief, comfort and peace of mind.
The sessions begin this Sunday, Jan. 18, from 3 until 5 p.m. in the Family Life Center, upstairs in the Parlor at First Baptist Church of Magee, 222 First Street NW, Magee.
Meetings will be held on succeeding Sundays from January 18 through April 19. GriefShare is open to anyone with a need for help in dealing with grief.
