Jean C. Hopkins, 95, passed away March 27, 2025, She was born to Timothy Franklin Canoy and Lola Belle Bishop Canoy in Simpson County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tim and Lola Belle Canoy; siblings, Leon Canoy, Dick Canoy, Timothy Canoy, Cody Canoy, Sadie Thornton and brothers-in-law, Tommy Barnes and Colon Kennedy.
She is survived by children, David Hopkins, Glenn Hopkins, and Patricia Harvey; brother, Travis Canoy; sisters, Beatrice Kennedy and Joanna Barnes; 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
The service was held March 30, 2025, at Tutor Funeral Home Interment followed in Magee City Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home.
