Joe Harold Allen passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1937, to the late Preston B. Allen and Alberta Ware Allen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Alberta Allen, and his loving wife, Madelyn Everett Allen.
He is survived by his son, Joe H. Allen II (Jennifer); daughters, Tamara Bullard (Kevin), and Terri Sullivan; grandchildren, Gage Sullivan (Ronica), Taylor Veazey (Dalton), Pricilla McRaney (Connor), Tristan Vanasse, and Peyton Bullard (Taylor); and great-grandchildren, John Patton Veazey, Pacey Veazey, Beckham Sullivan, Sarah Rose Vanasse, Bosswell McRaney, and Memphis McRaney.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Magee, MS, from 2 to 4 p.m. The service will be at 4 p.m. with Bro. Buddy Keyes and Bro. Ryan Wade officiating. Interment will follow at the Magee City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Magee.
