Laquetta Cole Scoggins, 94, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. She was born on December 25, 1930, to D.L. Cole and Velma Sullivan Cole in Mendenhall, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Scoggins; parents, D.L. Cole and Velma Sullivan Cole; and siblings, Van Cole, Lee Cole and Annetta Cole.
She is survived by sons, John R. Scoggins, Ronnie Scoggins, Anthony Scoggins, and Stephen Scoggins; daughters, Amy Laster, Ann Klobe; sister, Justina C. Eaton; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held on February 26, 2025, at Kennedy Springs Baptist Church, Interment followed in Kennedy Springs Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home.
