For several years I’ve been taking Zolpidem (generic for Ambien) on and off as a sleep aid. It’s cheap and effective and for most of us has little or no side effects. FDA studies show the incidence of dizziness and drowsiness (most common complaints) to be only 2% – 3% greater than that of a placebo… and that’s for us elderly folks!

Flooding continues to be issue in county

Dear Editor,

I am Lana Ashley 601 695 2311 and I live at Rockport on the bank of the Pearl River.

I lived here in the Easter flood of 1979 and this flood of 2020. In the Easter flood my home was in water 3 feet, this year the lower part of my split level home was flooded.

The senior citizens want to thank everyone for fixing the nutrition sites problems. We are all warm, stove new and a new faucet.

If possible we need the front heat on to heat the bathrooms.

Thanks for the repairs

Dear Editor,

The senior citizens want to thank the city for the heater in the community center getting fixed along with a new stove.

However, the faucet in the kitchen sink still needs to be fixed.
