5th Squad is dedicated to providing holistic support for Veterans, ensuring they receive immediate financial assistance, emotional connection, community engagement, and opportunities for healing and transition support. Our programs are designed to address both the urgent and long-term challenges Veterans face, helping them avoid financial distress, isolation, and emotional hardship. To achieve this, 5th Squad implements five core programs that work together to provide well-rounded support for Veterans. The Quick Reaction Funds (QRF) program offers immediate financial relief to those in need. Back to the Barracks (B2B) focuses on restoring camaraderie among Veterans, fostering a sense of belonging and shared experience. Echoes of Service Podcast (ESP) provides a platform for Veterans to share their stories, ensuring their voices and experiences are heard. Operation Send-Off Support (OSS) assists service members and their families as they navigate the challenges of military service and deployments. Lastly, Pack to Purpose (P2P) promotes healing through outdoor activities, helping Veterans reconnect with nature and find solace beyond their military service. Each of these programs plays a critical role in ensuring that Veterans are not alone in their struggles and have access to the resources and community they need to thrive.
“The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks a significant milestone for 5th Squad as it expands its services and outreach to better serve veterans in our community,” said Lee Stringer, President of 5th Squad. “We are excited to open our new doors and provide a space where veterans can connect, heal, and thrive. This facility represents our commitment to our veterans and their families, and we look forward to welcoming them into our new home.”
