Lyn Tutor’s 100th birthday celebrated!
On Saturday, November 30, 2024, Magee resident Lyn Tutor turned 100!
Her family hosted a birthday party where many gathered to celebrate this centenarian milestone. Tutor, dressed all in pink with a sweet tiara, was surrounded by family and friends for the big day.
She had not one but two birthday parties as the First Baptist Church of Magee BYW hosted one on November 21. “Miss Lyn” is a former teacher with the Simpson County School District. She was also a prolific writer, submitting several pieces to this publication over the years. Happy 100 years, Miss Lyn!
