Magee, Miss. — The Magee Police Department is investigating the death of a man found early Tuesday morning at a residence on 5th Avenue SE.
According to authorities, officers responded to the home at approximately 6:29 a.m. on September 9, 2025. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Ethan Devon Bryan Boleware, of Magee, deceased. Boleware was born May 15, 1999.
Police say the preliminary investigation suggests a possible self-inflicted injury. However, the case is being treated as a homicide investigation until all evidence has been received and reviewed by the state crime lab.
The victim’s next of kin has been notified.
